Car Fire at PNC Bank

TOMS RIVER – Police have reported that no one was hurt in a car fire that occurred in the parking lot of PNC Bank.

On April 25, at just before 8 a.m. a 26-year-old driver was heading to work at Lowe’s on Hooper Avenue, when he saw smoke coming from his hood.

He was able to pull over into the PNC Bank parking lot and exit the car safely. Firefighters from Toms River Fire Companies No. 1 and 2 responded to find his car in flames. Firefighters extinguished the flames and no one was hurt.
